On October 16, 2025, the Government Junior College, Madgula, hosted a highly successful organ donation awareness session!

Project Manager Mr. Venkatesh Kattela from MOHAN Foundation delivered an engaging talk to over 150 students and faculty members from Intermediate 1st and 2nd year. The session was conducted smoothly, ensuring minimal disruption to their regular class schedule.

The comprehensive presentation focused on educating the youth, a critical demographic for the future of organ donation by addressing:

• The crucial and life-saving difference between brain death and circulatory death.
• The legal framework and the process of pledging organs through a donor card.
• The urgent demand vs. supply gap for organs in India and the importance of cadaveric donation.
• Dispelling prevalent myths and misconceptions with factual information.
