On 27^th October 2025, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Principal Mr. Narinder Singh, to conduct an awareness talk on organ donation for their Students at   Govt. Model Senior Secondary School, Raipur Kalan, Chandigarh. Around 80 students attended the session.

At the beginning of the session, Ms. Neha Sharma, NSS Program Officer, welcomed all the participants.  She began asking few questions to students that which organs can be donated while living. Most of the students were aware about kidney transplant and liver transplant.

Participants were given presentation on organ donation and brain death by Ms. Neha Sharma.

In this talk, she explained the following points: -

• Organ donation and its need
• When and how does organ donation take place
• Organs that can be donated during life and after death
• The transplant waiting list in India
• Brain death
• Difference between brain death and coma
• Contraindications to organ donation
• Transplant Law
• Role of MOHAN Foundation
• Organ donation myths and facts
• Eye donation

The entire group got motivated and convinced to support organ donation. They would love to share their wish with their families and also respect for the body after death.
