On 15^th October 2025, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Principal Mrs. Indira Beniwal to conduct an awareness talk on organ donation for their Students at Govt. Senior Secondary School, Sector -10 Chandigarh. Around 300 students from class 11^th & 12th attended the session.

Participants were given an introduction and presentation on organ donation and brain death by Ms. Neha Sharma.

• Organ donation and its need
• When and how does organ donation take place
• Organs that can be donated during life and after death
• The transplant waiting list in India
• Brain death
• Difference between brain death and coma
• Contraindications to organ donation
• Transplant Law
• Role of MOHAN Foundation
• Organ donation Myths and Fact
• Eye Donation

It was an interactive session and engaging session. The Participants showed a deep interest in the cause of organ donation and would love to share their wish with their families and also respect for the body after death. Participants also appreciated the communication of such a complex subject in the easiest way possible. At the end, 40 senior students & 2 teachers took the donor cards.
