On October 17, 2025, MOHAN Foundation, Tripura, organized an awareness program on organ donation at Tulsibati Higher Secondary School, Agartala, West Tripura. The session aimed to educate students on the significance of organ donation, dispel myths and misconceptions, and motivate individuals to pledge their organs to save lives.

MOHAN Foundation was represented by Mr. Vincent Debbarma (Project Lead, Tripura) and Ms. Nipa Modak(Program Executive).

The program began at 2:30 PM with a welcome address by the Principal, who highlighted the importance of organ donation and encouraged students to engage actively in the session.

Ms. Nipa Modak then introduced the work and mission of MOHAN Foundation, detailing its nationwide initiatives such as awareness campaigns, community outreach, healthcare professional training, and promotion of organ donation pledges through donor cards and online registries.

Informational leaflets were distributed to reinforce the key messages and inspire commitment among the students. The interactive Q&A session, led by Mr. Vincent Debbarma, provided an opportunity for participants to clarify their doubts and gain a clearer understanding of the organ donation process.

A total of 63 students from Class XI attended the program. The event successfully emphasized the importance of awareness and individual responsibility in promoting organ donation and saving lives.
