On 8^th October 2025, MOHAN Foundation was invited by the secretary, Red Cross – Punjab, Chandigarh to conduct an awareness talk on organ donation for their First Aid Students at Vivekanand Bhawan, Chandigarh. Around 15 Volunteers from various parts of Punjab, Haryana & Chandigarh participated in the program.

Participants were given the presentation on organ donation and Brain Death by Ms. Neha Sharma.

In this talk she explained the following points: -

• Organ donation types and who can be a donor
• Organ donation statistics in India
• She challenged 5 myths with 5 facts on Organ Donation
• Difference between natural death and brain death
• Age is not a constraint in donating their organs.
• Real life stories of an organ transplant being shared with the participants
• Importance of Donor card
• To pledge their organs they can register at MOHAN Foundation

 At the end, Ms. Neha Sharma gave the vote of thanks. Over all the session was very interactive where participants enthusiastically contributed to the discussions asked many questions. All of them pledged for organ donation.
