On September 09^th, 2025 - A comprehensive awareness program on Blood, Eye, Organ, Skin, Hair, and Body Donation was successfully conducted at Jeeyar Institute of Medical Sciences Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital (JIMS HMCH). The event was jointly organized by the Department of Anatomy and the Telangana Eye, Organ & Body Donation Promoters Organization (TEOBDA).

The session took place with approximately 120 participants in attendance.

The program featured an expert panel of speakers, including:

• Sri. Ganji Eswara Lingam - Founder of Telangana Eye Organ and Body Donors Association
• Sri. Mallareddy - Founder President TEOBDA
• Sri. M. Nageswar Rao - Founder Vice President TEOBDA
• Srimathi. Bhandaru Vijaya - Founder Vice President TEOBDA
• Dr. Bhanu Chander - Senior Transplant Co-Ordinator MOHAN Foundation

Dr. Bhanu Chander delivered a key part of the awareness session, focusing on the critical aspects of various forms of donation.

The event was coordinated by the Department of Anatomy, JIMS HMCH, and supported by Prof. Dr. Navin Pawaskar (Director- JIMS Healthcare) and Prof. Dr. Nimai Chandra Dhole (Principal- JIMS HMCH). The successful participation underscores the commitment of the medical college and TEOBDA to promoting a culture of donation for public benefit.
