On 25^th September 2025, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Principal Mrs. Ravneet Kaur Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Pharmacy, Sector - 26, Chandigarh to conduct an awareness talk on organ donation for their students. Around 110 students & 3 Teachers attended the session.

Participants were given an introduction and presentation on organ donation and brain death by Ms. Neha Sharma.

In this talk, she explained the following points: -

• Organ donation types and who can be a donor
• The status of organ donation in India and their requirements vs donation rates
• She challenged 5 myths with 5 facts on organ donation
• Difference between natural death and brain death
• Age is not a constraint in donating their organs.
• Real life stories of an organ transplant being shared with the participants
• Importance of donor card
• To pledge their organs they can register at MOHAN Foundation website
• MOHAN Foundation’s mission & vision

All the students got motivated and convinced to support organ donation. At the end, On behalf of the audience Mrs. Reetu, NSS Program Officer thanked MOHAN Foundation and Ms. Neha for sharing with student’s information on a topic of great importance and relevance. Around 110 Students  signed up as organ donor at the end of the session.
