On 17th September 2025, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Nahar Spinning Mills Limited, Lalru, Punjab to conduct an awareness talk on organ donation for their Employees.

Ms. Neha Sharma began the session with the help of PowerPoint presentation. The following topics were explained in details:

• Organ donation and its need
• Organs that can be donated during life and after death
• The transplant waiting list in India
• Brain death
• Difference between brain and coma
• Contradictions to organ donation
• Transplant law
• Role of MOHAN Foundation
• Organ donation MYTHS AND FACTS

One of the participant shared a personal story. He mentioned that a member of his family had suffered from kidney failure. Following this, they registered at PGIMER Chandigarh, and after two years, the transplant successfully done.  Today the family member is completely fine healthy and leading a normal life. The story clearly reflects the life- saving impact of organ donation, as such initiatives have the power to save many lives.

At the end, Ms. Neha sharma gave the vote of thanks.Close to 39 participants attended the session. All of them pledged for organ donation.
