On September 12, 2025, an awareness session on organ donation was organized for the students of Don Bosco Polytechnic College, Pulianthope, Chennai.

The program began with Dr. John Fredrick, Principal, welcoming and introducing the speaker Mr. Ganesh C, Senior Project Executive, MOHAN Foundation. Mr. Ganesh introduced the Foundation and its activities, followed by an engaging talk on:

• Organ and tissue donation
• Concept of brain death
• The importance of the time factor in organ donation
• How to register as a recipient
• Government schemes related to organ donation
• Effective use of the toll-free helpline 1800 103 7100

He also addressed common myths and facts surrounding organ donation and cautioned students on how to safeguard against scams.

A total of 176 students participated in the session. Information brochures on organ donation were distributed to all.
