On August 13, 2025, at 11 am an online Eye Donation Awareness session was conducted with the Kotak Life Insurance Employees hosted by Jaya Jairam, Project Director, MOHAN Foundation.  A Total of 4 participants attended the session.

Mrs. Jaya welcomed all the participants and introduced the participants about Kotak Netra Dan. Before the talk, Mr. Pawan briefed about the pledges to be aimed to raise awareness.

Mrs. Jaya explained what is Cornea, magnitude of corneal blindness in India. She described who can donate Cornea specifying age, medical conditions. She also added circumstances which prevents corneal donation.

She further added the process of eye donation, precautions to be taken while retrieval, how Cornea is utilized for therapeutic and research purpose.

It was an engaging session attended carefully by the participants. The session was interactive with participants and the speaker expressing their work in eye donation.
