On August 25, 2025 – An organ donation awareness program was successfully held at the Mother Krishna Bai (MKB) College of Nursing. The session was led by Dr. Srinivas, a Nephrologist from Gandhi Hospital, and Dr. Bhanu Prakash, a Transplant Coordinator from the MOHAN Foundation.

The program was attended by around 80 nursing students and faculty members. The discussion focused on the importance of organ donation, the critical concept of brain death, and the process of grief counseling for donor families.

The session was very well received, with many participants coming forward to pledge their organs. The event concluded on a positive note, with the young nursing students demonstrating great interest and support for this life-saving cause.
