On August 29, 2025, MOHAN Foundation, in collaboration with Lions Club Rishikesh Devbhoomi, organized the second in a series of organ donation awareness programs through poster-making competitions in schools. The event was conducted at Jati Ram Aggarwal Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, Adarsh Nagar, Rishikesh, at the invitation of the Principal, Mr. Guru Prasad Uniyal.

The competition took place on the school’s main lawn, where 46 enthusiastic students from Class 8 participated. The top three entries were recognized with cash prizes and certificates. The activity provided a creative platform for students to showcase their thoughts on the importance of organ and tissue donation.

The students, through their posters, creatively expressed the importance of organ and eye donation. Many of them explained how a single donor could save multiple lives and emphasized that donation is a gift of life.

Mr. Sanchit Arora, Project Leader, MOHAN Foundation, stationed at AIIMS Rishikesh addressed the participants, speaking about the significance of eye donation and how it can restore sight to those in needs. He encouraged students to share these messages within their families and communities.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Guru Prasad Uniyal, who expressed heartfelt appreciation to the organizers, the speakers, and all participants for their active involvement and support.

The awareness initiative proved impactful, reaching approximately 60 participants and reinforcing the importance of organ and tissue donation among young minds.
