On August 15, 2025, MOHAN Foundation, Nagpur, was invited to AUREUS Hospital to celebrate Independence Day and conduct an Organ Donation Signature & Pledge Drive. The program was organized under the guidance of Dr. Dhananjay Selukar, Nephrologist, Super Specialty Hospital. Representing MOHAN Foundation, Ms. Neha Sailwar and Ms. Manjiri Damle participated in the event.

The program commenced with the Independence Day celebration, followed by the organ donation pledge drive. Dr. Selukar addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of organ donation, and led the participants through the oath-taking ceremony. During the session, a few participants were initially hesitant to pledge. Ms. Neha Sailwar addressed their concerns, clarified misconceptions and motivated them to participate. With her guidance and the support of Ms. Manjiri Damle, all participants, including dignitaries, came forward to take the pledge.

A signature campaign, ‘YES – I SUPPORT ORGAN DONATION’, was also installed at the hospital. After pledging, participants and dignitaries expressed their support by writing inspiring quotes and messages. The drive generated enthusiastic participation and successfully encouraged greater awareness and commitment towards organ donation.  In total, around 20 individuals formally pledged their organs during the event.

The program concluded with a group photograph, capturing the patriotic spirit of Independence Day alongside the commitment to the noble cause of organ donation. The event was attended by around 60 participants, including dignitaries, doctors and hospital staff.
