MOHAN Foundation was invited by the National Organ & Tissue Transplant Organization (NOTTO) to attend the 15th Indian Organ Donation Day celebrations on August 2, 2025, at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi. The event was organized by NOTTO under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, with Union Health Minister Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda as the Chief Guest. Smt. Nivedita Shukla Verma, Secretary, Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals and Health & Family Welfare, and Prof. Sunita Sharma, Director General of Health Services, were Guests of Honour.

In his address, Shri Nadda described organ donation as one of the noblest acts, emphasizing its life-saving potential and India’s remarkable progress in this field. He outlined key government schemes, such as Rashtriya Arogya Nidhi, which offers up to ₹15 lakh for transplants along with monthly post-surgery assistance, and Ayushman Bharat, which covers kidney transplants. He further urged citizens to adopt healthier lifestyles through yoga and Ayurveda to help prevent organ failure.
