On August 2, 2025, Mr. Gabriel Pereira, Organ Donation Ambassador with the MOHAN Foundation, conducted an awareness talk on organ donation for the students of the College of Home Science, Panjim, Goa.

Gabriel began by introducing himself and the MOHAN Foundation, outlining its work in Goa and sharing his personal motivation for becoming an organ donation ambassador. He explained which organs and tissues can be donated in cases of circulatory death and brain death, and highlighted the purpose of organ donation laws. He stressed the importance of obtaining a donor card and encouraged participants who wish to be donors to inform their family and friends about their decision.

The session featured informative videos explaining brain death, along with the testimony of Ms. Shreya Siddanagowder. Gabriel also shared the trailer of the film Aye Zindagi on YouTube to illustrate the life-changing impact of organ donation.

Approximately 50 students attended the event, with 20 participants signing up for donor cards. Flyers addressing frequently asked questions on organ donation were distributed to all.

Gabriel expressed his gratitude to Principal Prof. Mahesh Pai for facilitating the session and supporting the cause.
