On the occasion of National Organ Donation Day, August 3, 2025, Chennai's iconic Ripon Building was illuminated in green as a powerful gesture to promote awareness about organ donation. The green lighting symbolized hope for patients awaiting transplants and honored the selfless contribution of organ donors and their families—the ultimate givers of life.

The Ripon Building, a pristine white neoclassical landmark near Chennai Central Railway Station, combines Iconic architectural styles and serves as the headquarters of the Greater Chennai Corporation. On this special evening, the building's majestic facade glowed in green, drawing attention to a cause that touches countless lives.

In support of this initiative, the MOHAN Foundation team assembled at the site to distribute informative brochures to the public and raise awareness about the importance of organ donation. The event aimed to inspire more individuals to register as donors and recognize the life-saving impact of organ transplants. Nearly 100 brochures were distributed. 

The MOHAN Foundation extends its sincere appreciation to Dr. Thiru J. Kumaragurubaran, Commissioner of the Greater Chennai Corporation, and the Electrical Department team, especially the Manager, for their valuable support in bringing this event to life.
