On World Organ Donation Day, November 27,  2013  an awareness session on Organ Donation and Transplantation was organized at LLB 1^st year and BL 1^st years students of  Dr. Ambedkar Govt. Law College  at Puducherry. The session was conducted by Mr. Ananth R, Transplant Coordinator, MOHAN Foundation & Pondicherry Institute of Medical Science (PIMS) Hospital, Puducherry. 

He covered the following topics: types of donors, natural death, brain death;  causes of brain death; difference between natural death and brain death; difference between brain stem death and coma; organs that can be donated, the number of hours the various organs can be preserved before transplantation; importance of the donor card, MOHAN Foundation Activities.

There were a total of 120 students who participated in the sessions. 37 students picked up a donor card and brochures.
