On 29^th July 2025, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Principal Mrs. Neerja Jain Govt. Model Senior Secondary School Sector-27 Chandigarh to conduct an awareness talk on Organ Donation for their Senior Students. Approximately 70 students from class 11th   & 3 teachers attended the session

Ms. Neha Sharma began the session by asking participants what they knew about Organ donation. She then explained the current status of organ donation in India, covering the following topics in detail:

 She explained the following points: -

• Organ donation types and who can be a donor
• The status of Organ Donation in India and their requirements vs donation rates
• She challenged 5 myths with 5 facts on Organ Donation
• Difference between natural death and brain death
• Age is not a constraint in donating their organs.
• Real life stories of an organ transplant being shared with the participants
• Importance of the Donor card
• To pledge their organs they can register at MOHAN Foundation
• MOHAN Foundation’s mission & vision

All the students got motivated and convinced to support organ donation. It was an interactive session with the Students. Details of Organ Donation Helpline No 1800 103 7100 were also shared. Brochures and donor cards were distributed at the end of the talk.
