On July 14, 2025, the Lions Club Rishikesh Devbhoomi invited MOHAN Foundation to set up an information desk on organ donation at a blood donation camp held at Singh Sabha, Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. The invitation was extended by Mr. Gopal Narang, Charter President of the Lions Club.

The event combined voluntary blood donation with organ donation awareness. Mr. Sanchit Arora, Project Leader at MOHAN Foundation stationed at AIIMS Rishikesh, managed the desk, drawing interest from volunteers and donors alike.

Participants raised questions on the difference between organ and whole-body donation, the process for whole-body donation, and MOHAN Foundation’s 24/7 helpline, all of which were addressed. Informational materials, including FAQs on organ donation, were distributed.

Approximately 23 individuals visited the desk, with many expressing a willingness to pledge for organ donation. This initiative effectively combined the spirit of blood donation with organ donation awareness, inspiring attendees to take the next step towards saving lives.
