On July 3, 2025, MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness session on organ donation at Kshetrigao Urban Primary Health Centre (UPHC), Imphal-East, Manipur. The session was led by Ms. Laishram Monica Devi, Project Co-ordinator (Northeast) cum Project Lead (Manipur), along with Mr. Bidyananda Laishram, Senior Program Executive, and Mrs. Thaudem Mayarani Devi, Program Executive, MOHAN Foundation.

The session was organised as part of the Immunization Programme at Kshetrigao UPHC, in coordination with Mrs. Premlata, Nurse In-Charge, Kshetrigao UPHC. Residents from the local community were the core participants.

Mr. Bidyananda introduced the concept of organ donation, highlighting its importance and impact on society. He explained the differences between living and deceased organ donation, and clarified the distinctions between brain death and coma. He also guided participants on how to pledge for organ donation.

At the end of the session, Mrs. Mayarani distributed informational pamphlets to the participants.

Close to 40 participants attended the session.
