On May 18, 2025, the MOHAN Foundation conducted an insightful organ donation awareness session at the Aarya Samaj Seva Trust in Seawoods, Navi Mumbai.

The session was led by Ms. Prarthana, who arrived at 9:30 AM to engage with the trust’s members. A total of 68 participants attended the program, which was both informative and interactive.

Ms. Prarthana explained the importance of organ donation, sharing critical statistics on the shortage of donors and the lifesaving impact donations can have. She addressed common myths and misconceptions surrounding organ and body donation, such as religious concerns and fears about medical procedures. The session also covered legal aspects and the significance of body donation for medical research and education. Throughout the talk, attendees actively participated by asking questions and sharing their thoughts, creating a supportive and open atmosphere.

 By the end of the session, 12 members pledged to donate their bodies, reflecting a strong commitment to the cause. The event was a successful effort by the MOHAN Foundation and Aarya Samaj Seva Trust to raise awareness and encourage the community to consider organ and body donation, ultimately contributing to saving lives and advancing medical science.
