Organ Donation Catching Up In Malaysia

• A 21-year-old man from Kuala Lumpur had donated his heart lungs, liver and kidneys and the organs have been transplanted to five people including a six year old boy.
  
  Gift of their precious life was give to them when three hospitals in Malaysia performed the operation simultaneously
  
  A significant development in this regard is that the first single lung transplant was performed for the first time in Malaysia
  
  A team of 25 Medical professionals performed the surgery in this first ever-major effort for nearly 10 hours. .
  
  Congratulating the team the Malaysian health minister Chua soi lek said" Successful lung transplant marked a milestone in country’s medical field and proved that Malaysian surgeons are on par with those in the developed countries"
