On 24^th August 2018, MOHAN Foundation was invited by the Rotary Club, Chandigarh and Ms. Reema Dewan, Principal, Delhi Public School, Chandigarh to conduct an awareness talk on organ donation for their Class XI & XII students. Around 400 Students and 10 Faculty members attended the program.

Ms. Reema Dewan addressed the gathering and gave a brief introduction of Mr. Dewan and organ donation to the participants.

Mr. Dewan took the session starting in an interactive mode, asking various questions and bringing about participation of students.

Students gave a scintillating performance, a classical dance on Organ Donation Theme.

Participants were given the presentation on organ donation and Brain Death by Mr. Dewan

In this talk he explained the following points: -

• Organ donation types and who can be a donor
• The status of Organ Donation in India and their requirements vs donation rates
• He challenged 5 myths with 5 facts on Organ Donation
• Difference between natural death and brain death
• Age is not a constraint in donating their organs.
• Real life stories of an organ transplant being shared with the participants
• Importance of a Donor card
• To discuss with their parents and pledge their organs they can register at MOHAN Foundation
