On 27 June 2018, Mr. Bharanidharan (CSR Officer) of Suryoday Finance Bank Ltd, Tirunelveli Branch invited MOHAN Foundation Office to deliver an awareness talk on organ donation. It was held at Suryoday office for the members under Joint Liabilities group (Self Help group - SHG). Around 20 women participated in the program.

 Mr. Ilamurugu M Transplant Coordinator MOHAN Foundation delivered a talk on Organ Donation. In his talk he explained for following points:

• What is Organ Donation, who can donate, when does it happen
• The need for organs and causes of organ failure
• Brain Death, Natural Death and Coma
• Myths related to Organ donation
• Deceased donation cases in Tamilnadu
• Scenario of organ donation in India and in Tamilnadu
• Importance of Donor card, Helpline number

It was a very interactive session. After a question & answer session Mr. Bharanidharan thanked Mr. Ilamurugu for conducting the  awareness talk on organ donation.
