SMD Hindu Higher Secondary School aided by Tamil Nadu Government had a privilege of knowing about Organ Donation on 30^ith August 2017. The program was for the benefit of students in 10^th, 11^th and 12^th. Nearly 150 students with their teachers attended this awareness talk. Mr. Jayaprakash Daniel represented MOHAN Foundation in this program.

The program started with formal introduction note followed by awareness talk by Mr. Jayaprakash Daniel. The awareness talk focused on the importance of organ donation, procedure for organ allocation, myths and misconception among people on organ donation etc. at the end of the awareness talk, students’ queries were answered. This program motivated the entire group to support and promote this good cause.  The students were very curious about addiction such as nicotine and alcohol and organ donation.
