MOHAN Foundation was invited for the final day of the Angels of Change Volunteer Training program in M.G.R. Adarsh Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Mogappair on 14^th July 2017. Dr. Hemal Kanvinde, Mr. Siva Shankar and Mr. Jayaprakash Daniel represented MOHAN Foundation.

The  program was conducted in their morning assembly on the occasion of Mr. Kumaraswami Kamaraj’s birthday.  He is known as the kingmaker in Indian politics in 1960’s. The program started with a Tamil Thaivazuthu and school children conducted programs in his memory.

Later, Mr. Justin Rajanayagam, Principal of the school thanked Dr. Hemal Kanvinde and the members of MOHAN Foundation for choosing MGR Adarsh School as part of the Angels of Change training and making his students support this noble cause.  There were 600 students from 6^th to 12^th standard and 30 teachers at the assembly.

The Angels then conducted a program on Organ Donation. The session started with a public talk in English and Tamil which went on for 10 minutes each. Each student spoke on one aspect of organ donation.  Two students recited a poem in support of organ donation, a group showed their posters and explained the concept and another group displayed the result  of their public survey.

The Principal was very happy that their students were able to present the noble cause in their school assembly and he has promised to do an awareness program on their Annual day when the parents are also present. The Angels were really happy that they have done a good job in promoting organ donation in their school.
