MOHAN Foundation was invited to a program conducted by Yi- CII in Sri Sairam College of Engineering, West Tambaram on 8^th February 2017. They wanted the students to understand  for Organ Donation Awareness and also to plant 100000 saplings  in the campus. Mr. Aakash Agarwal, of YI – CII was the key person to organize the talk on organ donation for the students of the college. Mr. Ruban Victor, Transplant Coordinator and T. S. Siva Shankar, Helpline Executive represented MOHAN Foundation.

Mr. Ruban Victor gave a speech on Organ donation to the students.

The topics that were explained by him are as follows:

• Basics on organ donation.
• Awareness for the immediate family
• What to do when the moment of organ donation comes & how? Whom & where to contact.
• Legal aspects
• Importance of a donor card and online registration

500 students attended the session.
