One Week Transplant Coordinators’ Training Programme, Delhi
We are pleased to announce the 4th FORT-MOHAN Foundation training on Transplant Coordination from April 11-15, 2017 at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Sector 44, Gurgaon. The previous three training programmes, held in the month of April every year, have trained 168 professionals from 9 states in the field of transplant coordination. The faculty this year, once again includes eminent and experienced professionals from all over the country. Also, the attendees get to learn from the first-hand experience of the best transplant coordinators from across the country.
The success of organ donation and transplantation depends upon good counseling and coordination by transplant coordinators. The Transplantation of Human Organs (Amendment) Act, 2011, has made Transplant Coordinator nomination mandatory before a hospital is registered as a Transplant Centre. This means there is a huge requirement of Transplant Coordinators in close to 400 Transplant centres in the country.
The structured training programme for this year is being conducted under the aegis of NOTTO (National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization). The attendees shall receive a certificate of training from the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. We invite applications from transplant coordinators, ICU nurses, medical social workers, para-medical staff, doctors & graduates interested in the field of organ donation to avail this unique opportunity.
Please fill up the registration form to register for the training. Certificate of the training program will be given to candidates who attend the entire course, and pass the written test, which will be conducted on the last day of training.
