The Carnatic vocalist Padma shri Sudha Ragunathan the founder trustee of Samudhaaya Foundation and her close family circle decided to take the pledge for organ donation on the occasion of her Guru M L Vasanthakumari’s death anniversary i.e. on 31st October, 2010. The former star cricketer Krishnamachari Srikkanth, former President of Doordarshan Mr. A. Natarajan & Mr.Anantha Padmanaban, Managing Director of NAC Jewellers and founder of Anandha Foundation pledged for a donor card and expressed their support for the noble cause of “Organ Donation”.
