After taking blessings of Lord Venkateshwara at Tirumala, a large rally was organized from Town Club to NTR circle at Tirupati accompanied by a large group of about 1500 students of Sri Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences and finally reached SVIMS campus open air auditorium to felicitate Mr. Ramesh Reddy on 13th September 2014. The meeting was addressed by Director cum Vice Chacellor of SVIMS, Dr. Vengamamba, Dr. Bhaskar Reddy, Dr. Koti Reddy, Dr. Bhanu Chandra, Mr. Ramesh Reddy and other faculty members. Dr. Vengamamba stressed on increasing the awareness among the population and commneded the role of MOHAN Foundation in promoting deceased organ donation. Mr. Ramesh Reddy stressed upon the need of government support for the cause of organ donation and has requested the government to extend its support in Andhra Pradesh. All the students were distributed donor cards, information brochures and were explained about the role of MOHAN Foundation. We thank the students and faculty of SVIMS and especially, Dr. Vengamamba, Director cum Vice Chancellor for her gracious presence and support in making this event a grand success.
