On the occasion of birthday celebration of Shri Shri Ravishankar ji, MFJCF conducted an awareness drive at Ravi Shankar Ashram, Pratap Nagar, Jaipur on May 13, 2015.
Every year the followers of Shri Shri Ravishankar ji celebrate their guruji’s birthday at various centers across India with warm energy and full of excitement.
Mr. Utpal Rajoria, Project Manager, MFJCF explained the concepts of organ donation and transplantation primarily focusing on the types of donations, what is brain death, tissue donation, the Transplant Law of India and statistics on the said subject.
The session was conducted in an interactive manner where the participants chipped in with their views on recent coverage of organ donation stories in the media and also with unhesitant inquiries throughout. The pictures and stories of few of donors from Jaipur were also shown which the participants related.
People were highly excited to fill organ donation form after getting such information. Family, couples, mother and daughter all pledged the organs after understanding the whole procedure of a brain death case.
Guruji of this Ashram also support to this noble cause and spoke to all people to fill organ donation and body donation forms. Few followers said that they did a very good deed today by filling organ donation forms.
