Transplant Coordinators’ Training Program at Vijayawada

Updated on Friday, July 4, 2014
  • We are happy to announce our next Transplant Coordinators’ Training Program that will be held between 21st July and 24th July 2014 at Vijayawada.

As you are aware, the success of organ donation and transplantation depends upon good counselling and coordination by transplant coordinators.  The Transplantation of Human Organs (Amendment) Act, 2011, has made Transplant Coordinator nomination mandatory before a hospital is registered as a Transplant Centre.  This means there is a huge requirement of Transplant Coordinators in over 400 Transplant Centres in the country.

In order to meet the growing demand for Transplant Coordinators, MOHAN Foundation has embarked upon training programs to suit the needs of health care professionals in hospitals.   We have conducted several training programs in the country, and trained over 500 transplant coordinators.

We invite applications from Social Workers, Nurses, Patient Coordinators and Dialysis Technicians to attend this unique program.

    Registration Fee details:

Registration fee of Rs. 2500/- to be paid by Cash or cheque/DD made in favour of “MOHAN Foundation” payable at Hyderabad. Travel, accommodation and food should be taken care by the candidates.
