Updated on Thursday, September 11, 2014
  • We are happy to announce that the first ever Transplant Coordinators’ Training Program in Bangladesh will be held from 14th to 17th September 2014 at Dhaka. This program is being conducted in collaboration with the Society of Organ Transplantation, Bangladesh.

The success of organ donation and transplantation depends upon good counselling and coordination by transplant coordinators. In order to meet the growing demand for Transplant Coordinators, MOHAN Foundation embarked upon training programs to suit the needs of this cadre of health care professionals in 2009. We have conducted several training programs in India and trained over 500 transplant coordinators.

On the invitation of Dr. Harun Ur Rashid, President, Society of Organ Transplantation, Bangladesh, a team from MOHAN Foundation will be conducting the Transplant Coordinators' Training Program in Dhaka. This training will be a part of the 2nd National convention and Scientific seminar of the Society of Organ Transplantation, Bangladesh.
