  • On 27th June 2012, MOHAN Foundation, Bangalore organized a talk on Organ Donation for the management representatives and faculty members of Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences.  AIMS was established in the year 1986 by his Holiness Sri Sri Sri Balagangadharanatha Maha Swamiji with the vision of promoting medical education to provide better healthcare facilities in rural Karnataka.

MOHAN Foundation’s Country Director, Mrs.Lalitha Raghuram addressed the gathering and shed light on the topic of ‘Deceased Organ Donation’. The occasion was blessed by the presence of Sri Sri Nirmalanandanatha Swamiji. The dignitaries who attended the programme expressed the opinion that every effort should be made to reach the message of this noble cause to all sections of society. As a step towards this, Sri Sri Nirmalanandanatha Swamiji (Secretary Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences) invited MOHAN Foundation to organize a CME programme for the medical students (undergraduate and post-graduate) as well as other paramedical students from the college since the medical community plays an important role in facilitating organ donation. The programme is scheduled for 20th July 2012 at AIMS auditorium and aims to cover a population of more than 2500 students.
