  MOHAN Foundation was invited for an awareness program on Organ Donation at Rainbow Self Help Group (SHG), Chennai on 05^th February 2018 at 3.30 P.M. Dr. Hemal Kanvinde,       Ms. Suganya Ramar and Mr.T. S. Siva Shankar represented MOHAN Foundation.  The session was attended by 23 members from SHG and it was held at a temple in Chintadripet, Chennai.

  Ms. Suganya started the session with explaining about MOHAN Foundation and gave pre questionnaire about organ donation to SHG members. Green ribbon and information brochures were provided to them. Mr. Siva Shankar, explained about the concept of organ donation, brain death and coma, causes of brain death, importance of organ donation, when & how to donate organs to the SHG members with the help of flash cards and films. He conducted a small game about organ donation. The session was ended with group photo.
