  MOHAN Foundation - Bangalore participated in a NGO meet organized by ‘Global Citizens for Sustainable Development’ targeting to provide information on various NGO activities for the social development and also to promote volunteerism among the student community. The meet was held at St. Joseph’s Arts and Science College, Bangalore on 13^th February 2012.

   

  More than 500 students visited the stall set up by MOHAN Foundation who were oriented on various aspects of Organ Donation and also provided with Donor Cards and education materials on Organ Donation. To address students at macro level, posters, banners, powerpoint and video presentations on Organ Donation were screened at different locations in the campus. It was a highly interactive programme where students from various streams got an opportunity to clarify their doubts and have a deeper knowledge on Organ Donation. This meet has helped MOHAN Foundation to reach out to large number of youths in the city and promote volunteers for its activities. It has also helped the Foundation to network with the various NGO’s functioning in Karnataka.
