MOHAN Foundation, Bangalore, in association with Spiritus International Trust and JSS Law College, Mysore organized an Organ Donation Awareness Programme on 2nd May 2012. The program was inaugurated by renowned Kannada scholar and writer Dr. Malali Vasantha Kumar at JSS Law College auditorium, along with other dignitaries, Prof. Venkoba Rao (Former Vice District Governor Mysore, President Lions Club Mysore and Managing Trustee, Mythri, an NGO working for mentally challenged children) and Prof. Suresh, Principal JSS Law College, Mysore. Mr. Bino James, Project Manager MOHAN Foundation, made a 40-minute PowerPoint presentation explaining various concepts related to deceased organ donation and the need for it in the country. This was one of the first Organ Donation Awareness programmes organized in Mysore city.
