MOHAN Foundation was invited by Accenture, Perungalathur to give a presentation on Organ Donation and its basic concepts. The Transplant Coordinator-Ms.Veena screened a short film on organ donation and explained the concept of brain death, organ donation and organ allocation. She briefed the audience on the procedure for eye donation & whole body donation. She also spoke about the importance of the Donor card. One of the participants grandfather was declared brain dead. The family members took a collective decision and donated his organs. All participants who attended the program expressed their support by taking the pledge to carry a Donor card.
