  • ZTCC, Maharastra with MOHAN Foundation is organizing a workshop and certificate course on Transplant Coordination. The course commences on 13th – 18th Dec 2010, in Mumbai at KEM Hospital, Parel.

The course is aimed at training the MSW Students in Grief Counseling and transplant coordination.Transplant coordinators play a crucial and vital role in cadaver organ donation program, as they are the one who are with the family members and counsel them during their grief.

Counselors have shown this success both in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh cadaver donation programme and many of these counselors have been trained by faculty from MOHAN Foundation.

ZTCC, Maharastra is partnering with MOHAN Foundation to build confidence of Transplant Coordinators and train fresh MSW Students as transplant Coordinators and hope it will help increase the number of Cadaver Donations happening in Maharastra.
