Multiple Awareness Sessions on Organ Donation at SAP LABS, Bengaluru

  • SAP Labs Bengaluru invited MOHAN Foundation to conduct organ donation awareness sessions for their staff at four locations.  The sessions were conducted on 10th & 11th of October 2017 at the following locations

    Tuesday 10.10.2017 @ SAP Labs Main campus from 10:30am – 12:00noon

    Venue: #138, EPIP Area, Whitefield Road, Opp. Fortune Trinity Select Hotel, Bangalore – 66.

     

    Tuesday 10.10.2017 @ Ariba Technologies 2:30 – 4:00

    Venue: Concur Technologies (India) Private Limited, Laurel B block, 5th Floor, Bagmane Tech Park, C.V. Raman Nagar, Bangalore – 560093

     

    Wed 11.10.2017 @ SAP Office in SSZ 11:00 – 12:30

    Venue: SAP Labs India Pvt. Ltd. Salarpuria Soft Zone, 2nd Floor, B-Block, B Wing, Sarjapur Outer Ring Road, Varthur Hobli, Bangalore 560 103

     

    Wednesday 11.10.2017 @ SAP office in Eco World 2:30 – 4:00

    Venue: SAP Labs India Pvt. Ltd. RMZ Ecoworld, 8A Building, 8th Floor, Sarjapur Outer Ring Road, Bellandur, Bangalore

     

    Out of the above, the first session was conducted jointly with The Times of India Group who were doing a Organ Donation Drive in Bangalore during this time. The Times Group editorial team covered the first session along with their photographers.

    A total of 67 employees attended these sessions.  The company also organized a Blood Donation drive in one of these locations.

    Mr. V. Krishnan represented MOHAN Foundation and gave a comprehensive talk on the  Concepts of organ donation. The Sessions were interactive and many questions were asked. Main questions pertained to the Registration process for a person in Bengaluru  with MOHAN in Chennai . How the allotment of the organ takes place? Where will the Organ go? How they will be contacted for Registration etc How the costs are shared between Donor, Donee and Hospital/Healthcare system?

    All queries were answered by Mr. V. Krishnan.  MOHAN Foundation thanks SAP Labs for the opportunity to promote organ donation among their staff.
