  Tamilnadu Milk Welfare Association Members pledged for donor card

  Tamil Nadu Milk Welfare Association conducted their Annual Day celebration at T. Nagar. They organised different programmes for their members and their families. They invited MOHAN Foundation to set an organ donation awareness stall at PD Mahal, T. Nagar.  On 6^th April 2014. Mr. Jeyabal M, Transplant Coordinator  from MOHAN Foundation manned the stall. Mr. Ponnusamy, State leader pledged  his organs and picked up the first donor card later he distributed the  information brochures.

   

  The following topics were explained to the visitors:

  • Importance of organ donation
  • Difference between Natural death & Brain death
  • Age to donate organs
  • Procedure  of eye donation
  • Donor card details

   

  More than 200 members visited the stall and 62 of them pledged their organs and picked a donor card.
