MOHAN Foundation participates in Fortis - NDTV ''More to Give'' campaign

  • "More to Give" is a joint initiative by NDTV and Fortis Hospital with an aim to raise awareness about organ donation. It hopes to motivate people to donate their organs by highlighting the urgent need for donors across the nation. MOHAN Foundation is a knowledge partner for this campaign. This is the 3rd year of the campaign.

     

    On August 6th, 2018, a special ground activation was done as part of the campaign to spread awareness around Organ Donation in 7 cities namely Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Bengaluru and Chennai. Various activities were performed and MOHAN Foundation actively participated in the same.

     

    In Delhi, MOHAN Foundation was invited to set up the 'Life Before Ashes' Exhibition at Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj. Pallavi Sood and Anindita Sabath addressed various queries from the general public who visited the exhibition.

     

    Students, artists and representatives from organizations performed street plays, flash mobs, dance performances etc.

     

    Ms. Pallavi Kumar (Executive Director MOHAN Foundation NCR) was invited by NDTV to share her views about organ donation. She stressed the need for partnership between various stakeholders - be it the government, the private sector, NGOs, media etc - for the success of deceased organ donation in India.
