MOHAN Foundation joins the NDTV FORT More to Give Campaign

  •  MOHAN Foundation participated as knowledge partner for the NDTV FORT, “More to give’- a campaign focusing on sensitising the nation about the need on stepping up to donate organs for saving lives. Event was organised at Express Avenue Mall, Royapettah, Chennai on 5th August 2018 from 1pm to 7pm.

    Dr. Hemal Kanvinde (Q.A Officer), Mr. Ruban Victor (Programme Manager), Ms. Ann Alex (Programme Associate), Ms. Alishya Susan Poulose (Transplant Coordinator), Mr. Manikandan (Office Assistant) represented MOHAN Foundation at the event. Green ribbon and information brochures were distributed to the public.  Around 400 people  visited the stall, all queries by the public were answered by the staff.

    Mr. Parthasarathy (Donor family of Mrs. Vatsala), who is also a life member and volunteer for MOHAN Foundation, shared his insight and experience on organ donation. Later, students form St. Joseph College of Arts and Science, Kayur, Chennai, presented their paintings on organ donation. And also, they did on spot activity like face painting to promote the noble cause. This generated a lot of interest in the visitors to the stall.

    The campaign brought together donor families, recipients, celebrities, doctors and grief counsellors. A  few dances and songs were performed by students for the campaign at the venue.
