MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mr. Joshi to conduct an awareness session to their club members on organ donation at Eluru Officers Club on 14th March 2015.
There were about 10 members that have participated in the event and were distributed information brochures and activity reports and all the staff members have come forward to pledge to donate organs and were distributed donor cards.
Ms. Shanti of MOHAN Foundation spoke about the importance of deceased organ donation, religious and cultural barriers involved with organ donation & eye donation, concept of brain death and myths surrounding organ donation.
We thank Mr. Joshi and the members of Eluru Officers Club for giving us this opportunity to promote organ donation and for their active participation.
