MFJCF-AU Bassi Awareness talk on Organ Donation at Bagrana Panchayat

• On 03 Aug 2018 MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum Navjeevan team conducted an awareness talk on organ donation at Bagrana Panchayat, Bassi Jaipur with the support of AU Small Finance Bank.

  Dr. Amla Batra, Dr. Hivani Sharma and Mr. Pavan Kumar Dubey represented the MFJCF- Navjeevan team. Mr. Raju Lal Raigar(Sarpanch), Mr. Suresh Kumar Jangid (Gram Sevak ) along with the village people and students of class 11 and 12^th attended the session and got sensitized about the noble cause.

  Mr. Raju Lal Raigar welcomed introduced the MFJCF and members and invited Dr.AmlaBatra to give the presentation.

  Dr. Amla Btara started his presentation and told audience about brain death, organ donation, obstacles in organ donation etc.

  Some questions were asked during the program and answered by the members.

  1. Does government provide any kind of financial help to the donor family?
  2. If my family agrees to donate organs than whom it would be transplanted?
  3. Is organ donation possible only in brain death case?
  4. Is there any Law to regulate organ donation in the country?

  After the session all students posed for photographs with organ donation message board “I SUPPORT ORGAN DONATION”.
