He is the eldest son in the family, and working in Singapore for the past four years. He came back to his home town on leave. Mr. Sekar’s father is a farmer and they own two acres of land from which the father was able to avail loan to send his son of to Singapore to work. The family was in great hope on their son.  Mr.Sekar is a responsible son regularly sending money to his father to pay of the loan, and regularly calls up his family members, relatives and friends. Sekar have two sisters and one younger brother. His sisters were married. Sekars family was in a plan of looking for a bride for him as things were coming up for the family. When the family was planning and hoping for things to happen, tragedy struck the family on 6/12/2010 when Sekar met with a tragic accident. He got severe head injured and was admitted in CMC hospital. Mr.Sekar was transferred to a private Hospital from CMC vellore as the doctors have expressed no hope for his life. What all left of his earnings were spent and at certain stage the family was not able to afford the treatment cost, and so they didn’t have any other option other than shifting Sekar to GGH where he was declared brain dead after all the efforts taken by the physicians.

Sekar’s father and uncle were approached for organ donation. The family was given enough time to take decision. By understanding the concept of brain death and organ donation, the family accepted to donate their lovable son’s organs so that they saved few other patients' life who were in endless days of pain. Most tragical incident for his family members. However, my heart-full thanks to their family members for taking such bold & noble decision. May God bless their family.
