  The nuns from Adhyayana Hostel, Bangalore present for the session

  On 27^th July, 2013 MOHAN Foundation, Bangalore organised a talk on Organ Donation for the nuns of Adhyayana Hostel, Bangalore. Ms. Smeja Paul, Project Manager, MOHAN Foundation, Bangalore conducted the session. The session covered the following topics: concepts of organ donation, about brain death, about end stage organ failure and the need for organ donation.

   

  20 sisters were present for the talk and 18 of them picked up the donor card. The queries raised by the sisters were discussed and answered. They appreciated the efforts of MOHAN Foundation to spread the awareness and extended their support in spreading the message.

  1. Can Old people donate their organs?
