A program to felicitate the families of organ donors’ was conducted by DainikBhaskar and Hindustan Zinc along with their Knowledge Partner MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum- Navjeevan on 24th July 2018 at The Lalit Hotel, Jaipur. More than 500 people attended the meeting.
Ms. Bhavna Jagwani, Col Sunil Dhir, Mr. PrajeshTaneja, Mr. Ravi Kamra, Mr. PC Jain, Mr. Govind Gurbani, Colonel Lokesh Shukla, Dr. Amla Batra, Mrs. Kamla Chaudhari, Mrs. Hemlata Shah, Mr. Pavan Kumar Dubey and Mr. Roshan Bahadur attended the session on behalf of MFJCF- Navjeevan team.
The grand program started with a short video about Hindustan Zinc & their organ donation campaign. After the brief introduction to the audience about the program, the anchor of the show invited Dr. Manish Sharma, State Nodal Officer, Rajasthan Network for Organ Sharing (R.N.O.S) to moderate the talk show. Dr. Manish Sharma described the aspect of the organ donation and brain death with the help of a presentation. He also shared the statistics of organ donation cases that have taken place in Rajasthan over the last three years.
Honorable Minister Medical & Health Shri Kalicharan Saraf, Mr. Anand Kumar, Secretary, Medical and Health, Mr. Naveen Jain, MD National Health Mission, Mr. Amitabh Gupta , CFO, Hindustan Zinc Ltd, Mr. Rajiv Arora, Chairman, Jaipur Citizen Forum and Mrs. Bhavna Jagwani, Convener, MFJCF were invited to sit on the stage. Dr Manish Sharma asked them questions on organ donation.
Mr. Shankar Lal Meena father of donor Mr. Naveen Kumar Meena, Mr. Rakesh Jain father of donor Mr. Manan Jain, Mrs. Varsha Thadani mother of donor Dikshant Thadani, Mrs. RenuUba daughter of Mrs. Kamla Devi Uba were felicitated by the Honourable Health Minister of Rajasthan.
MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum- Navjeevan team is thankful to Dainik Bhaskar and Hindustan Zinc who organized the felicitation program to honor family members of organ donors. This will help in increasing the awareness on organ donation among the citizens of Jaipur.
