  On the occasion of the installation ceremony of Lions Club International Mr. Vivek Vaidya Cabinet Secretary, of the Lions Club International, invited MOHAN Foundation to give information about organ donation & transplantation to their club members.  The ceremony was held on  17^th July 2016 at Naivedyam Eastoria, Kalamna Market road, Nagpur.  MOHAN Foundation displayed information brochures, donor cards, standees and a banner.  Mr. Bulu Behera & Ms. Kanchan Shewde, Transplant coordinators managed the stall.

  Following information was given to the members:-

  Types of death; Types of Organ donation; Importance of donor card; donation of organ and tissues after natural death, brain death and while living and the process of registration as a patient. In addition they also spoke of the activities of MOHAN Foundation.

  100 members attended the program & 40 visited the stall. After understanding about organ donation, 14 people took the consent form & 1 person signed consent form and took donor card, other will submit the consent form after discussing with their family.
