  • Dr. Christopher Barry, Advisory Board Member of the MOHAN Foundation, participated in the “Innovations in Health Care & Hospital Management” Conference hosted by the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) in Hyderabad on 13 September 2014.

He delivered a speech on, “A Global Perspective of Health Care Management’s Special Case: Organ Donation”.  He  touched upon current health care management trends in the US and, specifically, the important role of hospital administration in supporting deceased organ donor transplantation in India.

The many prominent dignitaries present, as well as all of the students, were interested to learn about the challenges unique to deceased donor transplantation in India and the great opportunities ahead for transplant administrators.

Dr. Barry also learned quite a bit about the current state of affairs in India from the prestigious panel of doctors and hospital/health care administrators presenting at the meeting.
